We provide automated call-response and text messaging software to local businesses. When you interact with a business that uses our service, that business is the owner of your information and we process it on their behalf.
What we collect
When you call or text a business using our service, we record:
- Your phone number
- The date, time, and duration of your call
- The content of text messages you exchange with the business
- Any information you volunteer, such as your name or appointment details
- Voicemail recordings, where you leave one
We do not collect your location, browsing history, or contacts. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
From business owners who subscribe to our service, we also collect account details: name, business name, email, phone number, and billing information.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
- To schedule and confirm appointments you request
- To let the business review its own conversations and follow up
- To honour opt-out requests, which requires retaining your number
- To detect abuse and comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. No mobile information, phone number, or opt-in data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary with providers who operate parts of the service. They may use it only to perform that function for us:
- Twilio — delivers calls and text messages. Processes your phone number and message content.
- Anthropic — generates message replies. Processes conversation content. Not used to train their models on our data.
- Hosting and database providers — store conversation records securely.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments from business owners. We never store card numbers.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect against fraud or harm.
How long we keep it
Conversation records are retained for as long as the business maintains an account with us, and for up to 24 months afterward. Opt-out records are kept indefinitely, because deleting them would risk texting someone who asked us not to.
Your choices
- Stop messages: reply STOP to any message. This takes effect immediately.
- Access or delete your data: email support@nevermissedit.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep your number on the opt-out list even after deleting everything else.
- Correct your information: contact us or the business directly.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR. We honour these requests regardless of your location.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to personnel who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected people promptly if a breach occurs.
Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will update the effective date below when this policy changes materially, and notify account holders by email.
